What an exciting week it turned out to be.  Proyecto Latina was this past Monday, and we were pleased to have Sandra Posadas feature with us.  She shared inspiring poetry, influenced by her Puerto Rican heritage and her work as a public school teacher that resonated with many in attendance.  We all discovered that haiku chismes can require a lot of counting! Creativity, Celebration & Beer With ...

Proyecto Latina wanted to take a moment to thank Ellen Wadey for all of her hard work over at the Guild Complex. She has always been a wonderful supporter of emerging poets and writers including our own artistic endeavors. Ellen will be stepping down from the Guild Complex in December. We are sad to see her go but we are super excited that she will be focusing on her own creative pursuits! In honor of Ellen we’d like to extend an invitation to our Proyecto Latina family to come out for a special creative celebration for Ellen as she embarks on her creative journey....
